Dearest Little
Indian Boy!
Building Blocks
You are struggling everyday to pave your way.
Building blocks to place, new roads to face.
Your Mum can overlook, but can not write the book.
It's up to you
.. to make your wishes come true.
I can guide, but it's you who must decide.
Which path to take, which decision to make.
Just how fast to go, this only you can know.
An uphill fight, requiring all your might.
Requires determination to grasp your destination.
Passing one hurdle at a time, up the ladder you'll climb.
Moss does not grow on a rolling stone,
One day you too, can be all on your own.
For you a battle that you mustn't allow to rattle.
If you fall, again begin and it's you who will win!
I have great faith in you
You need to find it too!
Once you feel sure
.your goals, you'll secure.
Building blocks one upon another, a foundation in the makin'
Some hard to fit, some very heavy, but never to be forsaken
When you are down put aside that frown,
Just pick up your chin and then again begin.
You can do it you know that
you can
Look to the future, not only where you've been.
From the world, one can pretend or try to hide,
But to be strong we must dare to look deep inside
There is a world to discover if we just will uncover,
All that we mask, to ourselves alone we must ask.
Who am I? What do I want? Where am I going?
The answers for myself, only I am knowing.
Advice can be written, advice can be told,
But it's you who must make the final mold.
No where to run
no where to hide?
'Tis up to yourself to find true peace inside.
With each new sunrise brings a brand new day
A chance for a fresh start, to begin in a new way
Don't feed on despair, on
troubles and such
It will only keep you down too much
Instead think of how really lucky you are
Two Arms, Two legs, one bright and shiny STAR!
Others have terrible pain all day through
Just lay in a bed, Not a thing that they can do.
Some are born with afflictions hard to bare
People shun, they tease or often just stare.
Your body is perfect, not a flaw to be seen
Cherish that fact and head for your dream.
I Love you my Jamie, my
lil' Indian boy.
For you I wish a life filled with pure joy!
Love Mum
